I met Nikayla only a few short weeks ago. I cant believe how much better I feel! I have been struggling the last couple of years with peri-menopause – weight gain, loss of focus, hot flushes, sleep disturbances and a general loos in my overal joy for life.
I started taking hormone replacement (HRT) a few months ago. That made a huge difference in how I was feeling. I started getting my zest for life back. Even with the HRT I knew that unless I improved what I was eating, I would never be feeling my absolute best. It has been a long road to feeling myself again and Nikaylas support is a big part of that.
I was nervous to meet with Nikayla at first. It was very important to me to seek advice from someone who could relate to what I was going through. She is very knowledgeable about the issues I was having in regards to hormones and supplementation. There was no pressure to do crash dieting or massive amounts of exercising. The main thing she wanted to focus on was getting the food and supplementation right to help me feel my best.
The food plan she has made for me has a good variety, tastes good and even includes carbs! I am still struggling to eat all the food she recommends. There is nothing worse than starting a lifestyle change and being hungry all day. The best part of it was that within a few days I was feeling even better! No big dips in my energy during the day and bloating gone. Im feeling proud of myself for doing the work to feel good! I have even started exercising again.
If I am feeling this good after only a couple of weeks, I cant wait to see how I feel in a couple of months! That Nikayla for being a part of my journey! 🙂
